Wings of Winter [Demo]

Every year, Serafina finds herself observing birds migrating south for the winter from the warmth and comfort of her home, all while secretly wishing she was among them.

She thought she had already accepted her sheltered and mundane life, but the arrival of a wild bird ushers in a fresh new perspective that challenges her to reconsider her truth.

Whether this winter will be different depends on Serafina's choices in these next five days. The final outcome is in your hands.

Characters

Serafina (main): A Northern mockingbird who lives a comfortable and sheltered life with her loving owner but secretly wonders about life as a free bird in the wild. Her name means "fiery ones."

Zephyr (main): A wild American robin who is on course to migrate with his flock before winter but crashes into the windows of Angela's home. His name means "the West wind."

Angela (supporting): Serafina's owner and a human woman in her late 20s working as an avian specialist at the local wildlife rehabilitation center. Her name comes from the word "angel."

Wings of Winter is a visual novel that takes players through five days with Serafina and Zephyr, two birds with drastically different worldviews, as they discover new perspectives as well as their true feelings.

About Us

We are a small group of friends who decided to tackle a game jam together and brought our different passions, including writing, art, development, and music-making, to the project.

Despite being friends for many years, it is our first time working on a project together, and we are all novices to game-making and visual novel creation.

Although we are only releasing a demo, it is the culmination of 1 month of our efforts and teamwork, and we plan to complete the game together. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for taking the time to check out Wings of Winter!
